The company was founded in Budapest, Hungary in 2009 by Adam Somlai-Fischer, Peter Halacsy, and Peter Arvai, leading to investments from TED Conferences and Sunstone Capital. In November 2009, we established our San Francisco office. Two years and 7 million users later, Prezi raised $14 million in Series B financing led by Accel Partners with Sunstone Capital participating in the round.
